Geraniums for Sale!

Leah's preschool is selling geraniums for their spring fundraiser.  They are $6 per plant and the color choices are red, pink, salmon, white, or fuchsia.  We need to have the order/money turned in by April 26th, so let me know if you'd like some!

P.S.  Leah is also selling $1 raffle tickets for school.  The grand prizes are $100 cash, $100 worth of gas (from Rentz Oil), and a $50 savings bond.  There are other smaller prizes being given away as well.  We need to have all raffle tickets sold by April 11th.  Thanks for your support!!

Anna and Leah hold hands a lot now.  Last night, they were walking around outside together checking things out.

Leah got in trouble for throwing rocks into Bailey's water bucket.  Craig sent her to sit in time out for a few minutes and I snapped this photo as she walked by me....priceless.

Kitchen Helper

Leah is growing up so fast.  I can hardly believe she will be three years old in just a few months.  She has recently taken an interest in helping out in the kitchen.  She grabs her stool and helps me wash dishes, stir food, or wipe the counter.  She does a really good job and I enjoy sharing this time with her.

Book Fair

Several Saturdays ago, we took the girls to a free book fair event held by the county.  Each elementary school in the county sponsored a table at which the children made a craft that related to a kid's book.  Here are photos of Leah and Anna in their "Olivia"ears.

My Apologies....Again

Sorry the blog has been unusually quiet recently.  We've been battling illnesses around here.  Anna and I have had a pretty bad virus, which included a nasty cough and fever.  Even after 9 days, we are still hacking.  I have been giving Leah a homeopathic Elderberry Syrup to try to keep her from getting this crud.  So far, so good!

I highly recommend taking a daily maintenance dose of Black Elderberry Syrup during cold and flu season. 

Shamrock shake!!!

Tried a Mickee D's Shamrock shake the other day and it was deeeeelicious!  Delicate mix of vanilla and mint.

Baby Visit!

My cousin Kevin, his wife Heather, and their new baby boy Greyson came to NC for a visit this past weekend.  We really enjoyed seeing them.  This was the first time we were able to meet baby Greyson.  He is precious! 

Leah turned into super-helper-girl around the baby.  She found his pacifier for him, covered him up with the blanket and kissed his little hands.  Anna turned into standoffish-whattheheckisthat-girl.  She hasn't really had much experience around babies and was not sure what to make of him.
