Getting back into the blogging world.  LOTS of things have happened since I last posted in 2012.  Namely, we have a new addition to our family who just turned ONE!  I will begin posting again very, very soon.  So stay tuned...

Leah's First Day of School

Leah started preschool this week.  She will be attending the same school she went to last year, but she has moved into an older class.  We are looking forward to a fun year!

Fun With Stickers....Round 2

Many of you may remember the prior sticker incident involving my two little ones....seen here.  Well, it's happened again.

Papa's Little Helper

Papa came over this morning to hang our walk-in and driveway gates.  Leah was determined to help.

Our Fence!

Since having the girls, we've dreamed of a fenced-in back yard where they can run and play without fear of getting near the road.  We live in the country, but the road our house is on is a 45 mph speed limit with a fair amount of traffic.  We have been blessed beyond measure with help from family and friends getting this fence done.  Papa (Tim) has been the main engineer and worker on this project and it could not have been done without him!  Here are some photos showing the progress.

Happy 4th of July!!

Sorry its been so long since I've posted....our internet was being weird.  Anyway, here are some photos from our Independence Day festivities.

Leah's first sparkler.  She called it a "sprinkle."

We had a few (NC-legal) fireworks we lit in the driveway for the girls.

Dirt Can't Hurt!

Since we've fenced in our backyard, there are some ditches that need to be leveled up.  Papa brought us several loads of dirt to fill in these places.  The ladies have been playing on these dirt piles.  There is also a video below of Anna sitting on the dirt pile, throwing dirt.  It takes an interesting turn....make sure your sound is turned up so you can hear what's going on in it.  It's pretty funny.
